Grapevine Pass, Live Travel Conditionssearch
For hotels, fleets, newsrooms and neighbors

The free pass status widget

Put the live verdict for either pass on your own website: the same answer this site gives, in a compact card that refreshes itself every three minutes. Free to use with the credit link it carries. Your guests, drivers, and readers get the answer before they leave, and nobody has to retype a road report ever again.

The card is a plain iframe: no scripts, no tracking, nothing loaded from your page. It pulls the same live Caltrans verdict as the The Grapevine page and links back to the full conditions, cameras and closures.

Machine readable instead?

The same verdicts are available as JSON at /api/conditions (add ?corridor=grapevine or ?corridor=tehachapi-pass), cameras at /api/cameras, and alerts at /api/alerts. Reasonable use is welcome; the data itself belongs to Caltrans and the National Weather Service, so carry their credit when you republish.
